End-to-end e-commerce solution with a headless architecture — sub-second page loads, real-time inventory sync, and a fully branded storefront.
Project Overview
A high-performance e-commerce storefront built on the Medusa CMS headless commerce engine. The goal was to create a lightning-fast, fully branded shopping experience that could scale without sacrificing developer experience.
Architecture
- Frontend — Next.js App Router with React Server Components for zero-JS product listing pages
- Commerce engine — Medusa v2 for product catalog, cart, orders, and inventory
- Database — PostgreSQL with Prisma ORM, deployed on Railway
- Payments — Stripe integration with 3DS2 support
- CDN — Vercel Edge Network with ISR for product pages
