How I work
Start from the constraint
I look for the load-bearing requirement first, latency budget, data shape, team size, and let it decide the architecture instead of reaching for the trendiest one.
Ship in reviewable pieces
Small, well-scoped changes move faster and break less than big-bang rewrites. I'd rather ship a feature in five clean PRs than one that's hard to review.
Write it so it outlives me
Code gets read far more than it's written. I optimize for the next engineer, including future me, who has to change it under pressure.
